TreeFrog Builders was part of the First Core & Shell Commercial project in San Diego County to receive LEED Silver Certification.
TreeFrog Builders worked closely with the architect and owner, strategizing the complex issues necessary to fulfill the certification requirements. By capturing and using existing groundwater, that was being diverted due to allow for the subterranean parking structure, TreeFrog’s engineers helped design and construct a system that used this groundwater to almost completely irrigate the landscape, nearly extinguishing this projects landscape water usage. This water would have otherwise been diverted to storm drains, and the owner would have paid to dump it, instead of utilizing this precious resource. Learn more about this project…
